  • Pagosa Game Space is a game center with PC games, board games, role playing games, Xbox, Wii and much more. There are concessions, places to relax and a big screen TV, all starting at $2 an hour.   • Putt Putt Golf at Bogey's Mini Golf located on Putt Hill, just off Hwy 160 at 83 Pike Drive.  For more information, call 970-264-5858. 
     
  • Take a historic train ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, located in Chama, NM, only 45 miles away or enjoy a trip on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, located in Durango, CO, only 60 miles West of Pagosa.  Both railroads provide museums with great train history and a variety of adventures for the entire family - with many kid-specific train rides. 
     
  • Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park provide a great place for kids to see our area wildlife up close.  A half mile trail wanders around the alrge, natural landscape with cages that house bears, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, wolves and elk.  Located a few miles east of Pagosa Springs on Hwy 84.  Call 970-264-5546 for more information. 
     
  • Hot Air Balloon Rides provide a unique perspective of Pagosa Country, allowing you to float peacefully while taking in the expansive views.  Visit Rocky Mountain Balloon Adventures or  the Wind Wranglers for trip options and pricing.    
     
  • Fishing on the ponds behind River Center is a great way for kids to enjoy the outdoors and catch a fish too!  Besides the Pagosa Candy Company and the Malt Shoppe are located right there, in the River Center, to treat the family when finished.
  • Spend time at the Busted Spur Rodeo, held on Thursday at 7pm throughout the summer or the Red Ryder Rodeo held annually on the 4th of July weekend.
