Winterfest is brought to you by The Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.
This is an activity-packed weekend for the whole family here in Pagosa! The Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascensions, Sled Races, Cross Country Ski Clinic, Fat Bike Race, BB Gun Biathlon, the ever popular Penguin Plunge, and much more!
Day 1 Events:
8:00 AM - Chamber sponsored Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascension: Uptown in the Pagosa Lakes Area. Enjoy the spectacular winter view as balloons fill the sky.
8:45 AM – 11 AM - Pagosa Mountain Sports Sponsored Fat Bike Fun Race: 16K, 8K, KidK at Yamaguchi Park
10 AM – 6 PM - Skis and Saddles Skijoring: Hot Springs Blvd Open Space
10 AM – 12 PM - Learn to Cross Country Ski at Cloman Park: Brought to you by Pagosa Nordic Club
11 AM - 5th Annual Barkus Parade: Brought to you by The Lost Cajun. Join us in Town Park
1 PM - Annual Penguin Plunge: San Juan River in front of the Visitor Center - View from the San Juan River Walk
2 PM - Sledz On Rez - Build It. Ride It. Wreck It: Build Pagosa presents a homemade or modified store-bought sled race on Reservoir Hill in downtown Pagosa Springs.
