Runway for Rise: A Recycled Fashion Gala @ Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts
Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts
Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Runway for Rise will be held Saturday, October 3rd at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts. This fundraiser for Rise Above Violence is based around teams using imagination rather than cash to create outfits from recycled and natural elements. On October 3rd they will model their creations while the crowd goes wild voting for their favorite couture outfit made this year out of cardboard and recyclable plastics.
Each team will be competing for votes to raise the most money to support domestic violence programs and be awarded the 2026 Pagosa Prada Award. Online voting for your favorite teams is open now. Votes are $1 and you can vote as often and for as many different teams as you like. Teams will be reaching out to family and friends for support, and every dollar received will be added to their team totals.
Tickets are also on sale now for the live runway event. You can purchase tickets and vote for teams by visiting http://www.riseaboveviolence.org. Doors open at 6pm, and guests can enjoy appetizers from Alley House, refreshments, bid on silent auction packages and purchase wine pull tickets too. Show starts at 7pm. $50-150 tickets.
All donations raised through this unique event are tax deductible and support domestic violence services that are provided free and confidential through Rise Above Violence. Your help promotes the belief that all people have the absolute right to live free from violence.
