The Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs invites you to the 9th Annual Jeans and Jewels Barn Dance on Saturday, October 12, from 7-10 pm in the Archuleta County Extension building at the fairgrounds. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The Jackson Mountain Ramblers will entertain attendees with country music, line dancing, and vibrant community spirit. Activities include a cash saloon, free Buckaroo Wagon rides, photos, and a silent auction. More information at https://pagosaspringsrotary.org/
Get Your Tickets! Tickets for the Barn Dance are available at the Chamber of Commerce and Exit Realty, or from any friendly Rotarian. Advance dance tickets are $30; tickets at the door are $35. Chuck wagon dinner tickets are sold separately for an additional $15. Only 150 meals are available, so be sure to purchase your dinner tickets early!
An online auction of experiential items runs through September until October 11 at midnight. All proceeds from this lively event benefit the Pagosa Rotary Community Assistance Fund which supports our college scholarship foundation, the Rotary Youth Exchange bringing foreign exchange students to Pagosa, dictionaries for third graders and awards to send our youth leaders to leadership camps. Since 1983, the scholarship foundation has awarded more than half a million dollars to some 200 local graduates pursuing higher education at college or trade school. Mysteries of Chimney Rock Tour provides an in-depth discussion along the Great House Trail about the connection of Chimney Rock to the greater Chacon culture, the significance of the mesa-top Great House, and the day-to-day lives of the ancestral inhabitants of Chimney Rock. 5pm.

Enjoy a delicious BBQ cookout and outdoor games while a guitar entertainer plays classic songs around the fire. On the menu are smoked brisket sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, lemonade, and s'mores fixings. Includes scenic horse-drawn wagon ride with meadow, mountain, lake and ponderosa forest views. Approx 1.5 hours, 6pm and 7pm time slots, advanced reservations required. $70 adult, $55 Children, Free under 3.

'A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder' Runs June 27-August 29. A musical comedy that one reviewer called "a murderous romp filled with unforgettable music and non-stop laughs." It was the most nominated show of the 2014 season, with 10 Tony nominations and four wins including best musical, book, direction and costumes. 'Gentlemen's Guide' is about a low-born Englishman who learns he is ninth in line for an earldom so he creates a plan to get rid of the eight heirs in his way. 7pm. $48.
