Mysteries of Chimney Rock Tour provides an in-depth discussion along the Great House Trail about the connection of Chimney Rock to the greater Chacon culture, the significance of the mesa-top Great House, and the day-to-day lives of the ancestral inhabitants of Chimney Rock. 8am.
Dates: June 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
Cost: The fee is $20.00 for ages 13 and up, $10.00 for ages 5-12, and under 5 are free

A Safe Place in Pagosa, Inc. (DBA Aspen House & Aspen Services) is pleased to announce that they are honored to be presenting the 17th annual Pagosa Duathlon on Saturday, July 12th. The race will take place in the Turkey Springs Trail System - we have a race for everyone in the family.
Chimney Rock Through the Ages Morning Tour @ Chimney Rock National Monument
Chimney Rock Through the Ages Tour explores both the natural and cultural history of the area through geologic time and incorporates the anthropology and archeology of the Puebloan people. 8am.
No reservations required. Meet your guide at the Weminuche Native Plant Garden at the Riverwalk Wetlands Tour sign. Tours last 1-1.5 hours. Wheelchair accessible. No dogs. 8am. Free.

The Great House Tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures. 10:30am.

Buckaroos Campfire Roast @ Buckaroos Horse-Draw Rides
Enjoy a campfire classic! Take a scenic horse-drawn wagon ride to our gazebo site and roast all-beef hotdogs and s'mores around the fire, complete with live guitar entertainment, yard games, beverages, and more. The evening tour continues though an expansive ponderosa pine forest and returns to the starting point. Approx 1.5 hours, 6pm and 7pm time slots. $60 Adults, $50 Children, Free under 3.

Adapted from an epic narrative poem written in and about the Roaring Twenties, 'The Wild Party' tells the story of one wild evening in the Manhattan apartment shared by Queenie and Burrs, a vaudeville dancer and a vaudeville clown. In a relationship marked by reckless behavior, mirroring the time in which they live, they decide to throw an extravagant Gatsby-like party to end all parties. $48. 7pm.
