CO Department of Labor & Employment Unemployment Benefits
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed some requirements of unemployment and additional assistance is now available through the CARES Act. Independent contractors and gig workers are encouraged to apply beginning April 20. If you’ve already applied, check on your payment here.
  Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)
Provides paid FMLA and paid sick leave for employees directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic (benefits not paid through state unemployment programs).
Connect for Health Colorado Emergency Health Insurance Enrollment Now Open
Coloradans who experience a qualifying life change event, during or outside of the open enrollment period, have a 60-day window to buy or change plans.
Freelancers Union Freelancers Relief Fund
Financial assistance to cover lost income and essential expenses not covered by government relief programs.

BUSINESS & EMPLOYER ASSISTANCE

 
US Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDL)
Provides working capital loans of up to $2 million for small businesses that can provide vital support during the temporary loss of revenue.
EIDL Emergency Advance
Businesses eligible for an EIDL can receive an advance of up to $10k. Funds will be made available following a successful application and the advance will not have to be repaid.
  Paycheck Protection Program
An emergency loan that can be forgiven when used to maintain payroll through June and expands the lender network beyond the SBA.
  Express Bridge Loan Program
Enables small businesses who currently have a business relationship with an SBA Express Lender to access up to $25k.
  Debt Relief Program
The SBA is providing a financial reprieve to small businesses during the pandemic.
  Local Assistance and Free Business Counseling
Working with local partners to counsel, mentor, and train small businesses.
Facebook for Business Small Business Grants Program
FB will offer $100M in cash grants and ad credits for up to 30,000 eligible small businesses.
US Department of Labor Sick Leave and Expanded Family and Medical Leave Under the Family First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)
Reimbursements for small, private employers with tax credits for the cost of providing employees with paid leave taken for reasons related to COVID-19.
CO Department of Labor & Employment Work-Share Program
This allows you to let your employees keep working, but with fewer hours.
