Pagosa Springs History Museum

Pagosa Springs History Museum collects, displays and interprets artifacts collected from the local area. Housed in the old Water Works, exhibits describe the Hot Springs, settlement, local industries and daily life.

We hope you will come in and explore the unique and interesting history of our area. From our own mosasaur, to Fort Lewis, railroading, wildlife and early Pagosa Springs lifestyle, there is something to interest all.

Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum

The Southern Ute Museum strives to ensure the survival of Southern Ute people through meaningful education, cultural, historic, and current event exhibits, and to provide a unique museum experience for indigenous and non-indigenous visitors.

Experience the unique history of the Ute people through their eyes defining stages of Ute History. Also take part in a guided tour gaining unique insights into the exhibits and enjoy presentations provided by Southern Ute tribal member tour guides.
