July 4th Fireworks

The 4th of July would not be the 4th without fireworks, and Pagosa Springs puts on quite a display, starting around dark at the Pagosa Springs High School Sports Complex. Picnickers are encouraged, but alcohol is not permitted on school grounds. The fireworks will be launched from 8th Street at the High School but can be viewed from almost anywhere in downtown Pagosa Springs.
