Plein Air Workshop @ Chimney Rock National Monument
The Plein Air Workshop is offered once a month on a Saturday. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the process of "plein air" painting, the act of painting outdoors to capture the spirit and essence of a landscape by incorporating natural light, color, and movement. In essence, learning to capture the outdoors while outdoors and, of course, featuring the wonderfully scenic vistas at Chimney Rock National Monument.

The Town of Pagosa Springs cordially invites you to kick off the Spanish Fiesta by joining us in celebrating the dedication of a public art piece created by artist Chad Haspels, commemorating our rich Hispanic sheep herding heritage. 211 Aspen Village Drive Trail, adjacent to Pagosa Peak Open School along the multi-use trail in front of Walmart. 9am.

Art at the Pinnacles @ Chimney Rock National Monument
Beginning Watercolors. Art at the Pinnacles is a weekly class offered at various locations within the Monument. Each week a different class will be taught. Our teachers are Lise Neer and Kathie Disner, professional local artists, and Denise Fisk, former Iowa Schools art teacher. Check-in 7:45-8am. Tickets $25 (ages 10 and up).
