Johnny Nicholas Former lead singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist, with the band “Asleep at the Wheel” From the bayou of South Louisiana to Johnny’s iconic Texas roadhouse and live music venue, Hill Top Cafe, in Cherry Spring Texas, to the Liberty Theatre in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. You will dig consummate songwriting and story telling as Johnny’s earliest influences and stylistic inspirations simmer seductively and boil over into raucous outbursts of joyful toe-tappin’ boogie woogie. His blues, honky tonk and South Louisiana Soul originals are all delivered with a fresh, high energy stage presence. Johnny has played with some of the most original and artistically powerful individuals of the American 20th Century. This list of his peers and friends includes Jimmie Vaughan, Eric Clapton, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Marcia Ball, Nathan Abshire, Rosevelt Sykes & Johnny Shines just to mention a few.

You can drop your Christmas trees off at the Archuleta County Extension Fairgrounds located just south of Hwy 160 and Hwy 84 prior to the event starting December 26 and contribute to the blaze!
