Moonrise Cross Country Ski @ Cloman Park

Members and non-members welcome for these free events under the rising moon. Bring a headlamp or flashlight for back-up but be ready to turn the lights out and enjoy this fun and unique experience!
At least beginner Classic cross country skiing experience required. There will be a short hill or two, but skiers are welcome to walk on the side of the groomed trail. The group will stay together.
GEAR
Bring skis, boots, poles, water and dress in warm layers. Check the forecast for temperatures and cloud cover.
Local ski shops provide discounted rentals for PNC events, just mention you are attending. Alpen Haus Ski Center, Pagosa Mountain Sports, Pagosa Ski Rentals, Summit Sports and Ski & Bow Rack all rent Classic ski equipment. Be sure to ask for the discount!

BB Gun Biathlon @ Alberta Park at the Wolf Creek Ski Area
A unique, super-fun freestyle ski event in which participants can either classic or skate ski while target shooting with Red Ryder BB guns provided by the Pagosa Nordic Club. 10 seconds added for each shot missed during the race but no gun or shooting experience is needed. Prizes for the top finishers and best costumes along with participant drawing giveaways. Great fun for all ages! In-person Registration 8:30-9:30am. $5 for Nordic Club members, $15 non-members.

Sound Journey @ The Edge of Silence
Come and experience the healing benefits of epic spacial vibrations produced by large gongs, singing bowls and other sound instruments made out of new and ancient metals, clay and wood. These unique instruments will surround you in our 1300 square feet acoustical sound space. Sound Journey is 1 hour in length. Yoga mats, blankets, and neck pillows are provided. Bring eye masks and knee support if preferred. Arrive by 12:40pm for 1 pm sound journey. $25.
