Mysteries of Chimney Rock Evening Tour @ Chimney Rock National Monument
This two-hour tour takes visitors along the Mesa Village Trail, the Great House Trail & a panoramic view from atop the Mesa Ridge aimed specifically at interpreting the history and significance of Chimney Rock and the Ancestral Puebloans who inhabited the area more than 1,000 years ago. Tickets: $20, ages 13 & up, $10, 5-12. Check in 4:45-5pm. 5-7:15pm.

Birders of all skill levels are welcome to participate. Your guide will help you identify various species and explain the unique adaptations that allow these birds to survive here. $20. 8-10am.

Full Moon Tour @ Chimney Rock National Monument
Beginning about an hour before moonrise, an informative lecture on topics specific to the site followed by Native American flute as the full moon rises. Volunteers light the trail to the mesa top for a full moon program before the twin spires. A speaker tells the story of the people and their likely relationship with the moon, sun, and stars. Check-in 6:45-7:30pm. Program 8pm. $30.
