George Bodde, Nature Oil Paintings. Born in rural Michigan in 1971, George Bodde started painting and drawing as a child.  Art was a family pastime. He entered and won numerous awards in local competitions and helped finance college with pen and ink greeting cards of his hometown’s historic landmarks. The topics of George’s works are inspired by his love of outdoor activities including hiking, rock climbing, backcountry skiing and fly fishing. As a child, George was inspired by the watercolors of Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent and California painter, Franz Bischoff.  He currently follows the work of numerous plein air painters. George Bodde graduated from Michigan State University and specialized in operations leadership. He retired in the fall of 2017, and now pursues his passion for the outdoors and creating impressions of his experiences. He and his wife reside in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. 5:30-7:30pm. For more information visit https://twooldcrowsps.com/events/
