Holiday Lights Tour & Contest

Once again, the Pagosa Springs area will be bright with holiday cheer this season. The Pagosa Springs Area Tourism Board and The Pagosa Springs SUN are sponsoring a lighting contest this holiday season. The lighting contest will make the holiday season shine. It includes enhanced lighting in downtown Pagosa as well as many other festive events taking place in and around the Pagosa Springs area November 29th through the end of December.
The tour includes homes, businesses and window displays this year. Grab the Visit Pagosa Springs App from your app store of choice (iOS or Android) and look for the Holiday Lights Tour under the Tours Section. Once you find it, hit the Map It button. You’ll find all entries conveniently mapped for you! Holiday Light Tour participants will have their lights on from 6-8pm every evening from November 29 through December 31.

Christmas Ornament / Pendant Wire Wrap Workshop @ Wire Art Academy at Pagosa Springs Visitor Center
Create a beautiful wire-wrapped Christmas ornament that can also be worn as a pendant. Students can make one or more pieces depending on time, using high-quality wire and Czech glass beads. Beginner-friendly. Ages 12+ (younger okay with an adult) Price: $45. 1:30-4:30pm.

WICKED: FOR GOOD @ Liberty Theatre
Rated PG. For two holiday seasons Wicked, the record-shattering, Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon will become a gravity-defying cinematic sensation. The feature-film adaptation of the untold story of the Witches of Oz is directed by electrifying filmmaker Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, this year's In the Heights). Doors and Caldwell's Liberty Bar open at 1pm. Movie at 2pm.
