Once again, the Pagosa Springs area will be bright with holiday cheer this season. The Pagosa Springs Area Tourism Board and The Pagosa Springs SUN are sponsoring a lighting contest this holiday season. The lighting contest will make the holiday season shine. It includes enhanced lighting in downtown Pagosa as well as many other festive events taking place in and around the Pagosa Springs area November 29th through the end of December. Lights will be on every evening from 6-8pm.

School of Movement Presents Circus With Santa @ Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of holiday magic at our 'Circus with Santa' event on Saturday, December 14th, at the Pagosa Center for the Arts! Perfect for families, friends, and festive fun-seekers, this event is packed with activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Tickets $35 for Adults, $15 for kids under 12. 12pm.
Santa's Sleigh Ride @ Buckaroos Horse-Drawn Rides
Take a horse-drawn ride through the meadow and our magical Christmas tree forest to arrive at The Claus Cookie Hut. There, you will be served Christmas cookies and cocoa by Mrs. Claus and have a chance to meet and take photos with Santa himself! Enjoy a warm bonfire and special family time before returning with the horses. 3pm, 3:30pm, and 4pm. Adults $45, Children $35, Under 2 years $5. Reservations required.
Holiday with the Horses @ Diamond Hitch Stables
Diamond Hitch Stables is hosting Green Horsemanship for an afternoon in the festively decorated indoor arena to meet our lesson horses, take photos with them in our holiday photobooth, make no-bake horse cookies, and enjoy a donut from Bruin! We also have a hobby horse obstacle course, fun for kids and even more fun for kids at heart. 3-4:30pm. Tickets $60 ahead online, $65 at the event.
