Once again, the Pagosa Springs area will be bright with holiday cheer this season. The Pagosa Springs Area Tourism Board and The Pagosa Springs SUN are sponsoring a lighting contest this holiday season. The lighting contest will make the holiday season shine. It includes enhanced lighting in downtown Pagosa as well as many other festive events taking place in and around the Pagosa Springs area November 29th through the end of December. Lights will be on every evening from 6-8pm.
Jingle Bell Bingo RE Fundraiser @ Pope John Paul II Catholic Church
Win assorted prizes and/or gift cards to local businesses. All proceeds will support the RE programs and special events. Doors open 6pm, games begin 6:30pm. Suggested donation $5 adults, $3 kids.
Painting Party @ Picasso & Vino Studio
Family Friendly Painting Party "Holiday Hoot." Follow along step by step to create your own masterpiece! Beverages and light snacks available for purchase. 6:30-8:30pm. $38.

3rd Annual Ugly Sweater Balloon Flight Contest with Pagosa Adventure
Join us for a festive hot air balloon flight that's as fun as it is meaningful. Show up in your wildest, wackiest, and most outrageous holiday sweater and take to the skies with Pagosa Adventure. $75 entry fee includes a free hot air balloon flight over snowy Pagosa Springs and entry into the ugly sweater contest with prizes. 8am. Spots are limited, must preregister by calling 970-946-4450. All proceeds will go toward purchasing toys for the Toys for Tots Program.

Sound Journey @ The Edge of Silence
Come and experience the healing benefits of epic spacial vibrations produced by large gongs, singing bowls and other sound instruments made out of new and ancient metals, clay and wood. These unique instruments will surround you in our 1300 square feet acoustical sound space. Sound Journey is 1 hour in length. Yoga mats, blankets, and neck pillows are provided. Bring eye masks and knee support if preferred. Arrive by 12:40pm for 1 pm sound journey. $25.

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus at Pagosa Springs Towne Terrace Building with House of Jerky, Musgrave Wood & Wildlife, and PJ's Fine Bamboo Rods for a fun-filled afternoon of pictures, refreshments, and in-store sales. Enjoy free gift wrapping and get into the holiday spirit with PJ's Fine Bamboo Rods next door. Bring the little ones to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. 2-5pm.
