Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA) invites the public to a free lecture given by Jon Ghahte on Tuesday, January 21st. The lecture will take place at 3:00 PM at the Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library located at 811 San Juan Street, Pagosa Springs. Join us as Jon Ghahate discusses, “Ancestral Puebloans to Contemporary SW Pueblos: Science,
Community, Languages & Cultures”.
The Lecture is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm with a Q & A period following the lecture.
Jon Ghahate is a Museum Cultural Educator, at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, of the Pueblos of Laguna and Zuni in New Mexico, Turkey and Badger Clans.
CRIA’s free Lecture Series offer the opportunity each year for the public and CRIA volunteers to enjoy a speaker whose topic typically relates to southwest archaeology, archaeoastronomy and/or Chacoan culture. Donations accepted.
CRIA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that offers interpretive programs at Chimney Rock National Monument in partnership with the USDA Forest Service and the San Juan National Forest. For more information see the CRIA website at www.chimneyrockco.org or call (970)731-7133.

Proceeds to UWSWC are invested locally to meet needs in the areas of education, financial stability and health.

Meet the Artist: Martin Gerdin @ PJ's Fine Bamboo Rods
Discover the artistry of renowned glass blower Martin Gerdin. Known for his exquisite craftsmanship and dedication to detail, Martin has gained acclaim for his ability to transform glass into beautiful, functional works of fly fishing art. This January, he and his wife will join us at PJ's Fine Bamboo Rods to personally deliver their latest custom trout creations, crafted exclusively for our community of fly-fishers. 5:30-6pm.
Bugs & Brews Fly Tying Class @ PJ's Fine Bamboo Rods
Two hour class where we focus on learning how to tie a single fly. Class includes instructions, needed tools and supplies to tie up to four flies, and a beverage of your choice. $45. 6-8pm.

Lickety-Split Improv is a comedy and improvisation group founded by veteran performers Karisa Bruin and Scott Morehead, who both came up through the Chicago comedy scene and have spent the last 20+ years performing in improv and sketch theaters large and small in Chicago, New York, LA and beyond.
